Fun Times and Good Stuff...

Just like the sun...

....as it sets in the west, we were created for the display of His splendor!!!

He has blessed us...

...with every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus.  Nothing compares, not even a stay in one of the ritziest hotels in Southern California, to knowing and growing in our walk with the LORD.  No, there is nothing wrong with worldly wealth as long as you remember where it's origin.  He wants to be your treasure.  If He in turn entrusts you with much, then be a good steward of it!!!

South of the Border

It is dirty, dusty and it often takes what seems like forever to get back on US soil, but something about Tijuana is beautiful.  Recently, I made the trek once again with a group from my church.  The family we built a four walled plywood house for was overflowing with joy.  All they had known was poverty, but they still had smiles on their faces and love in their hearts. 

Run with Endurance

"Since we are surrounded by such a great crowd of witnesses, let us run with endurance the race marked out for us.  Looking unto Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith who for the joy set before Him endured the cross and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.  Consider Him who endured such opposition from sinful man so that we will not grow weary and lose heart (Hebrews 12:1-3)."
