Although it is different every night...

....you can always count on the sun to set. In the same way we trust our God who works in different ways but is always at work. He plan is always the best!!!

It only takes a moment...

...to stop and appreciate the beauty that surrounds you!!!

He sheds light on our path....

....one moment at a time!!!

When we look to Him...

....we will never be discouraged or dismayed. For He promises to go before us and be with us!!!

We wait in hope...

...for our God because He knows the plans He has for us in every season on our lives!!!

When you are single, you have the gift of being wholeheartedly devoted to the Lord mind, body and soul. Being devoted to the Lord does not change with marriage to the person God has for you. Marriage is a unique and beautiful gift that enables to people who are wholeheartedly devoted to the Lord to enrich each others' lives and the lives of those around them. It is a commitment to love and serve and be blessed by another.

Don't be late...

...for a VERY IMPORTANT date!!!

Every day...

...is a MERRY day with MARY!!!

Don't mess with...

...the KING!!!

You know...

....I just had a hankering for some raw fish!!!

He commanded them...

...leave your nets behind. Come follow me, and I will make you fisher's of men!!!

Choose this day....

...whom you will serve. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!!!

He was a musician from birth who used to sing the chords in his crib. His vision was to use his love for music to help others connect with the God he worshiped from a young age. Exhausted as he was, he did not hesitate to give of himself one more time in the presence of the least of these. He shared his love for music with others, and enabled another to experience making a joyful noise to the Lord in a new way. God gave Him the grace and strength He needed because He chose to be obedient.

Kids doing what kids do best!!!

They were young but they had a message to share. Two young girls moved with purpose to accomplish a vision only God could have given them. Their mission was to pray for others and give a timely word of encouragement to as many as they could. Although they were young, their words brought people what they needed.

I'll be running the race....

...even while I wait!!!

Conflict can get ugly...

...but if you establish clear guidelines for fighting fair, then it can strengthen your relationship!!!

In the cool of the day...

....with the gentle breeze, He speaks to us. These quiet moments with God are to be savored and enjoyed!!!

Intending to see the moonrise one night....

....I saw the tail end of sunset from Navajo Point. Sometimes we think we know what is best for us, but God knows better. He has a reason for each season of your life. Like seeing the sunset when my intentions were to see the moon rise, He may not do things the way we expect. We can be sure that when we trust his ways, things always turn out better than we ever thought possible. He has many wonderful surprises in store for you just like He painted this beautiful picture for me over the Grand Canyon the other night!!!

When all is dark and quiet here....

...the lesser light pokes through and illuminates this glorious expanse!!!

There is nothing like a beautiful cloud display...

....over the vast expanse of the Grand Canyon. It takes my breath away because it will always be a little bit different!!!

He peeks through the clouds...

...to remind us of His presence!!!

Meant for Enjoyment

I think that God created places like this just for the sheer pleasure of watching us enjoy them. Then, He can remind us by saying, "Yep, I did that just for you!!!"

Achieving a goal...

....is finishing well!!! After hearing about the beauty of this particular waterfall, my goal this trip was to hike to it no matter how long or difficult. I would not be deterred. I knew that what lay in store was worth the tedious effort it would take to get there. "Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore, I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize (I Corinthians 9:24-27)." Do you want to finish well?

Dolphins do exist....

....at the bottom of the Canyon---hahaha!!!!

His love descends on me....

....like a waterfall. It is rejuvenating and refreshing as it purifies my heart and soul. His love reminds me of who I am, and gives me the courage to take steps of faith. Since I am loved by Him, I am able to love!!!

Glimpses of Paradise

Waterfalls at Havasupai (at the bottom of the Grand Canyon) are reminders of the beauty that awaits us in heaven. I can only imagine what lies in store if this phenomena is just a glimpse of what is to come!!!
