"...God looked over everything He created and behold it was very good!"
As we admire the beauty of His creation, we are drawn closer to Him. What has been known about God is visible in the wonders of what He made. This is a unique portrayal captures the essence of God's attributes through His divine handiwork.

Surprises!!!
After a big snow storm at the Canyon, my favorite thing to do is walk the rim trail. It is always a surprise because you never know what gorgeous scene God is going to paint. As I gaze over the abyss, I am lost in wonder all over again.
Friendship
There is nothing that can compare to the peaceful company of a good friend. I am so blessed by the friendships God has given me. They are an irreplaceable blessing in my life. I enjoy every moment of sharing life with them.

Stand in Awe of His Unlimited Power!!!
The Colorado River is one of the fastest flowing rivers in the U.S. Every year people have been consumed by its intense rapids. In doing so, they underestimate and undermine the power it has. In the same way, God's power is endless and it cannot be limited by any of our human cares and concerns. Never underestimate what He can do in and through you to accomplish His purposes!!!
The Long Road
Although the road is long and the journey rough at times, keep going, never give up because it is worth all the toil when you reach your destination.
The Uniqueness of a Snowflake
In the same way as there are no completely identical snowflakes, you are unique. God made you in His own image. You are not like any other, and He has a plan for your life that is special and just for you. No, the you who you are can never be replaced!!!

Practice, Patience and Persistent Perseverance!!!
As inspired by snowboarding, these are the 3 P's for life. Similar to learning to snowboard, falling or failing is a part of learning. If you do not get back up, you will miss out on some of the most exciting thrills of your life. I wish I could surgically implant these important attributes into my first graders as they are learning to read. Often some of them just seem so unmotivated.
