Every day is a new day to be lost in wonder because of who He is; every day is a new surprise waiting to happen!!!

His Faithful Promises

Most likely, the Canyon was formed as a result of the flood several thousand years ago.  After the flood, God placed a rainbow in the sky promising to never flood the earth again.  Today I was reminded once again of His promises that will always be fulfilled because I am in love with a God who first loved me!!!

It's the little things...

...like being able to run with a view like this.  It is often all of the little things in life that make the biggest difference in your own as well as the life of someone else!!!

A Sweet Gift

Each day is a gift from the Ultimate Giver.  How will you choose to use it?  Will you treasure it and use it to bless others and praise His Name, or waste it away thinking about things of which you have no control?   

Seasons

Seasons come and seasons go
often they seem a little bit slow
although at present
one may seem
overwhelming
we can always be assured
of its perfect timing!!!

Mountains

No one has ever told us this life would be easy.  Even Jesus desired that the cup He was about to partake of be taken from Him.  But, when we have even the smallest mustard seed of faith, we can say to this or that mountain move and it will be moved.  When we rely upon the God of this Universe to move our mountains with His strength, it is then and only then that we can do all things. 

Shadows

Sometimes in life our worries, fears, doubts and weaknesses can cast a shadow upon us.  During these times, it is hard to see beyond the day to day struggles.  When we come to Jesus, and cast our troubles on Him; He reminds us of the beauty that lies beyond these shadows that often cloud our vision. 

Although the clouds roll in...

...my faith will remain!!!

His Beloved

You are the beloved of the Creator of the Universe.
He has loved you with an everlasting love and showered you with kindness.
He will love you forever.
He thinks the world of you.
You have a place in Eternity waiting for you.
You are His Beloved!!!

A Glimpse of Heaven

Heaven is a wonderful place filled with glory and grace.  This is where I will see my Savior's face as fall into His warm embrace.  Until then, I must let His light shine through in every single thing I do!!!

A Rose Among Thorns

Not only does the red rose symbolize the deepest of love, but a rose among thorns is one whose faith has been tested and tried.  Yet after this pruning, it emerges even more beautiful than before.   

A Single White Rose...

...equals the purity we have in Christ that should filter into the most special relationships we have in life!!!

Perfect Timing

He is never late or early, He is always right on time!!!

He is Sovereign

Just as He has formed each wave of the ocean and sets it in motion at the perfect time; He is in control of both the macro and the micro things in our lives. 

Consider

Consider the lilies of the field or the birds of the air.  They do not sow or reap or store away in barns, in yet, your heavenly Father feeds them.  If this is how He takes care of the flowers of the field and the birds that grace the sky, how much more will He take care of me?  In yet, more often than I would like to admit, I am the one with so little faith that doubts His hand rather than seeking and surrendering to Him (Inspired by Matthew 6:25-34).

Blessed Friendship

Where ever life takes us, no matter how much time we spend apart; we are connected and the love we have for each other continues to grow.  I am so thankful for each one of these amazing friends that have been a source of encouragement, a shoulder to cry on, someone to talk to, make fun memories, laugh with, you name they have been this for me!!!

Uprooted

When asked if I will be putting roots down where I am, I answer yes, but only because I resolve to make every place I go home in some small way.  Yes, I put roots down as I meet and build relationships with people.  However, everywhere I am uprooted, I take them with me.  My life will only be enriched because of all those lives I have been apart of over the years.  Although I have roots, it is God who can uproot me whenever He desires as I surrender to Him and walk in His way.  My root with Him will never be uprooted. 

A New Year

What do you want to see when you look back on 2013???
