Precious Moments with God...

...are still, quiet and serene as they bring peace knowing He is in control of all things!!!

Even the Rocks Cry Out....

...in worship to His Name!!!

Fingerpaintings of our Heavenly Father

Footprints in the Sand

Christmas time is here....

...it is filled with so much happiness, joy and cheer!!!

"I'm dreaming of a White Christmas!!!"

"Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!!!"

LOVE

Each bead in this heart represents the love I have for the second graders I teach.  They will always hold a special place in my heart.  The joy kids have is contagious making it easy to love them.

Perfection

As the full moon rises perfectly over the great expanse known as one of the seven wonders of the world, so His ways and His timing are as perfect as He is!!!

The Nature of His Beauty...

...is incandescent as the sunset He paints every night.  If He cares about the details in the sky, how much more does He care about the details of our lives???

Follow His Leading

"He leads me beside quiet waters; He restores my soul (Psalm 23:2)."

A long journey...

...begins with a single step.  Sometimes we have to keep putting one foot in front of the other as we go forward knowing He goes before us, and He knows the way!!!

His Fire....

...inspires me to desire more of Him and less of me (John 3:30)!!!

From Dawn to Dusk

HE never ceases to SURPRISE and AMAZE me in everything HE does!!!

Better Than One

"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work.  If one falls down, his friend can help him up; but pity the one who falls and has no one to help him up.  Also, if to lie down together, they will keep warm.  But how can one keep warm alone?  Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.  A cord of three strands is not quickly broken (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12)."

God's Smile

Our God...

Beauty in the Clouds

The heavens declare the glory of God!!!

His Glory...

....shines through even when all hope appears dim!!!

Always Full of Surprises

Like the moonrise on an evening Canyon run, so God is full of surprises.  He works all things for good for those who love Him who are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

Some things....

....are just meant to amaze us and bring us to our knees.  Whenever I overlook the purple mountain majesties found in the Canyon, or run along the sandy shores of the ocean, I am drawn closer to the one who holds it all in the palm of His hands!!!

His Fire...

....inspires me!!!  With Him I can do all things; I can take the necessary risks to be all He has planned for me to be!!!

Sunset Serenade at Moonlight Beach---written by a friend---

The surf is before me
It laps on the shore
The sun ventures lower
To be seen no more

A walk amidst the tide
Now is done, complete
So I write this poem
While resting my feet

The waves performed a dance
Across the wet sand
Surging and retreating
From its place on land

On saturated coast
The sun glistened bright
To impart a warm glow
As it wanes in light

Moonlight Beach now basks in the glow of an early evening sun that ventures steadily and surely toward the horizon as it has always done since Creation. The fiery orb reflects off the waves along the shore as they proudly advance and mournfully retreat in obedience to an ancient decree. The shadows grow long, and the palette of colors shifts decidedly to red and orange. The sky is a rich blue with no clouds, save a haze in the distance that partially shrouds the coast to the north and south. People assemble on the beach donned with sunglasses to bid farewell to the sun at it slips below the horizon for another day. The air, earlier replete with warmth, slowly surrenders to an evening chill as an ever so subtle breeze whispers across the land. Evening has come, and in its wake another heavenly luminary will soon mount the sky to bathe the earth in its muted glow. Morning and evening, another day is complete.

Meant to be Enjoyed

God's creation is meant to be enjoyed whether you are overlooking the expanse of the Grand Canyon, or watching the sun sink into the horizon on the shores of one of San Diego's immaculate beaches.  His creation displays His splendor, and He delights in sharing it with us.

Caught in the Thicket of Life....

....know that He always provides.  Whether it is a need or a way of escape, He comes He faithfully comes to our rescue because He knows!!!

HE sent me a rainbow!!!

He is faithful to His promises and loving toward all He has made.  As rainbows are unexpected, so are many of His blessings.  They are unexpected, yet so good!!!

There really is no place like home!!!

San Diego will always be home no matter how far I roam!!!

Gotta Love Brothers!!!

What is wrong with this picture?  If you are my youngest brother, then apparently nothing!!!

The Altar is for All Ages

"Let the little children come unto me, and do not hinder them; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.  Whoever does not enter the Kingdom like a little child will never enter it (Jesus, my Savior)."

Hidden Treasures

Like the water falls at the bottom of the Grand Canyon  at Havasupai Falls, God has many hidden treasures in store for those who trust Him.  When He reveals them to us, they are meant to bring us to our knees in sheer admiration.
